Cybersecurity major track of UTB Bachelor of Science in Information Technology focusing on network security, data protection, and cyber threat prevention

The Networking and Cybersecurity major track equips students with in-demand skills in cyber forensics, ethical hacking, network security, and security architecture design. It prepares graduates to address cyber defence, cyber operations, and cyber law challenges, ensuring strong protection of digital systems and data.

Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence

Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence major track of UTB Bachelor of Science in Information Technology focusing on data analysis, machine learning, and intelligent systems

The Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence major track equips students with the knowledge and skills to acquire, curate, manage, and analyse data, and derive meaningful insights using statistical methods and intelligent algorithms to solve real-world problems.

Applications Development

Applications Development major track of UTB Bachelor of Science in Information Technology focusing on software development, web applications, and programming solutions

The Applications Development concentration equips students with strong programming skills in industry-relevant languages such as Python, C++, Java, C#, VB.NET, PHP, and mobile programming, enabling them to develop modern business and enterprise applications.

Admission Requirements & Criteria

Requirements

 

📋 Completed application form (Online or in person)

📋 Original secondary school certificate (or equivalent) with an English translation of the transcript and/or ‘A’ level certification from the Ministry of Education in Bahrain (HEC-Bahrain rules apply for foreign or private school certificates.)

📋 One recent passport-size photo

📋 Copy of passport and national ID (or equivalent)

📋 Official receipt of BHD 25 (USD 70) application fee

📋 Certificate of good conduct

📋 If applicable, University Admission Test or English language proficiency for exemption from English foundation courses (TOEFL – 450 paper-based, 131 computer-based; IELTS – 5.0)
