The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) programme at UTB equips students with a strong foundation in the concepts, principles, and technologies that drive modern computing. The programme covers core areas such as data structures and algorithms, computer architecture, operating systems, and programming languages, alongside practical techniques in software development.

Students are also exposed to advanced and emerging fields, including human–computer interaction, data mining, enterprise architecture, artificial intelligence, mobile computing, and animation. Admission Requirements & Criteria

Requirements

 

📋 Completed application form (Online or in person)

📋 Original secondary school certificate (or equivalent) with an English translation of the transcript and/or ‘A’ level certification from the Ministry of Education in Bahrain (HEC-Bahrain rules apply for foreign or private school certificates.)

📋 One recent passport-size photo

📋 Copy of passport and national ID (or equivalent)

📋 Official receipt of BHD 25 (USD 70) application fee

📋 Certificate of good conduct

📋 If applicable, University Admission Test or English language proficiency for exemption from English foundation courses (TOEFL – 450 paper-based, 131 computer-based; IELTS – 5.0)
