UTB’s BS in Accounting and Finance earns ACCA recognition

The University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) announces that its Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance programme has been officially recognised as an ACCA Exemptions Framework Listed Programme. This prestigious recognition acknowledges the programme’s alignment with the rigorous standards of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

The ACCA exemption offers students a fast-track route to becoming ACCA-qualified professionals by exempting them from specific ACCA exams. UTB’s BS in Accounting and Finance programme will allow students to achieve global recognition in finance and accounting while saving time and effort in their pursuit of professional certification.

This recognition was awarded to UTB during the seminar on “Careers in Accounting and Finance,” by Mr. Ahmad Bilal.

“We are thrilled that our Accounting and Finance programme has been recognised by such a distinguished institution,” said Dr. Haitham Alqahtani, Vice President for Academic Affairs of UTB. “This certification will provide our students with a significant advantage as they pursue their careers in accounting and finance, opening doors to global opportunities.”

UTB continues to uphold its commitment to providing world-class education, and this ACCA recognition is a testament to the university’s dedication to academic excellence and preparing students for success in a highly competitive field.
