UTB to host second edition of SIMDTE, international conference on digital transformation and emerging technologies
In the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council in Bahrain, the University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) is set to host the second edition of the international conference on Sustainable Innovations in Management in the Digital Transformation Era (SIMDTE 2025) on 14-15 October 2025 at the InterContinental Bahrain.
Focusing on innovations in digital finance, artificial intelligence in business and telecom, sustainable development practices, digital marketing, e-commerce and supply chain, and human resource and innovation” the two-day conference will gather thought leaders, academics, and industry executives to explore emerging global trends in digital transformation and innovation. Distinguished keynote addresses will be delivered by Mr Abdulwahed Al Janahi, CEO of Benefit; and Mr Bader Sater, CEO of FinTech Bay. The programme also includes expert talks, industry spotlights, panel discussions, and paper presentations, with the participation of corporate partners.
More than a hundred research enthusiasts from different countries are expected to take part, further enriching the conference with diverse perspectives and global insights.
