UTB strengthens accounting and finance career pathways with ACCA

The University of Technology Bahrain (UTB), through its College of Administrative and Financial Sciences (CAFS) and the Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance (BSAF) programme, hosted an on-campus student engagement session titled “From Classroom to Boardroom: Building Careers with ACCA.”

The session featured Mr Ahmed Bilal, Regional Business Relationship Manager at ACCA Middle East, who shared insights from his extensive experience in professional qualification development and international accountancy practice. He guided students on how to leverage the ACCA qualification to accelerate their careers in accounting, auditing, and finance.

This interactive session bridged academic learning with real-world industry practice, encouraging students to align their studies with global professional standards. It reinforced UTB’s commitment to producing career-ready graduates equipped to thrive in the dynamic financial sector.

As an ACCA Exemptions Framework Listed Programme, UTB’s BSAF programme offers exemptions from specific ACCA exams, giving students a fast-track route toward the globally recognised ACCA qualification. This alignment enables students to achieve international recognition in finance and accounting while saving time in their professional certification journey.

Through initiatives like this, UTB continues to build strong partnerships with global professional bodies like ACCA, ensuring students gain both the academic foundation and professional recognition required to succeed in today’s globalised financial landscape.
