UTB reaffirms loyalty to His Majesty King Hamad
Inspired by its core values of commitment and engagement, the University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) reaffirmed its loyalty to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa during a pledge-signing ceremony held on campus. The event reflected the university’s dedication to Bahrain’s unity, stability, and continued progress.
Led by Dr Hasan Almulla, President of UTB, university officials, faculty members, employees, students, and expatriate community members signed the Pledge of Loyalty to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Through this initiative, participants expressed their commitment to supporting Bahrain and contributing positively to the Kingdom’s future.
Moreover, the ceremony highlighted the strong sense of belonging shared by the UTB community. It also demonstrated the university’s ongoing commitment to national values, responsibility, and active civic engagement.
Dr Hasan Almulla thanked the UTB community and expatriate participants for their support and dedication. He emphasized that the pledge reflects the values that guide the university, including loyalty, unity, inclusivity, responsibility, and engagement. Furthermore, he noted that collaboration between citizens and residents plays an important role in strengthening Bahrain’s development and prosperity.
Through its UTB CarEs initiatives, UTB continues to create meaningful opportunities for community engagement and social responsibility. In addition, the university fosters a multicultural environment with students and employees representing more than 65 nationalities. This diversity enriches learning experiences and encourages collaboration across cultures.
