UTB prepares students in the competitive job market
In line with its commitment to producing future-ready graduates, the University of Technology Bahrain (UTB), through its Deanship of Student Affairs, hosted the “Personal Branding in a Competitive Market” workshop in collaboration with Budaiya Hub.
Held at the campus auditorium, the workshop provided students with invaluable insights into navigating today’s dynamic employment landscape. The session aimed to equip attendees with practical tools to develop a strong personal brand and communicate their value effectively in increasingly competitive hiring environments.
Designed by and for young professionals, the workshop featured a dynamic series of engaging segments that would encourage reflection, sharpen self-presentation skills, and simulate real-world recruitment scenarios.
Throughout the session, participants were actively involved in collaborative tasks focused on enhancing employability skills such as critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and CV development. A key highlight of the event was the “Fix the CV Challenge,” where students critically reviewed CVs and received practical feedback on how to make their applications stand out in today’s job market.
UTB continues to uphold its mission to foster holistic development by integrating academic excellence with professional readiness, ensuring that its graduates are equipped to lead, innovate, and thrive in the world of work.
