The Photography Club of the University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) organised a hands-on videography workshop aimed at equipping participants with essential skills to create professional-quality videos using mirrorless and DSLR cameras. The session covered key aspects of filmmaking, including fundamental shooting techniques, effective audio management, and maximising natural lighting to enhance visual storytelling.

The workshop was expertly facilitated by Mr Cesar Parroco, Web Marketing and Technical Communications Manager at Nikon Middle East and Africa. With his extensive experience in the field, he provided invaluable insights, sharing industry best practices and practical tips to help attendees refine their videography skills.

Participants engaged in interactive demonstrations, where they had the opportunity to apply their newly acquired knowledge in real-time, experimenting with camera settings, composition, and lighting adjustments to capture high-quality footage.

The Photography Club, headed by Abdulla Sultan, a Bachelor of Science in International Business student, continues to organise workshops and activities that inspire students to explore and refine their talents in photography and videography, reinforcing UTB’s mission to provide a holistic and enriching educational experience among students.
