The University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) took part in LEAP DeepFest 2025, the premier global gathering for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) ecosystem in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, bringing together thought leaders, change-makers, big tech companies, data scientists, innovators, enterprises, academia, start-ups, and entrepreneurs driving business innovation. Recognised as an award-winning technology event, LEAP made history in February 2022 as the world’s largest tech launch.

Over four dynamic days, Dr Omar Alhawi, Dean of Student Affairs, along with two Student Council members, represented UTB, engaging in networking and knowledge exchange with leading global innovators, visionaries, and industry pioneers shaping the future of technology.
