UTB launches two new, in-demand master’s programmes

The University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) announces the launch of two new industry-responsive master’s programmes within the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences: the Master of Science in Digital Marketing and the Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. These programmes were thoughtfully crafted based on a thorough market analysis to ensure that graduates are prepared with the essential skills and expertise to succeed in today’s fast-paced business environment.
The Master of Science in Digital Marketing programme is aimed at future leaders eager to excel in digital strategy, online branding, and data-driven marketing techniques. With a focus on practical applications and the latest advancements in technology, this programme is perfect for individuals seeking to make an impact in the competitive field of digital marketing.
Meanwhile, the Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management programme offers an advanced understanding of logistics, focusing on critical areas such as global supply chain networks, operations management, and strategic sourcing. This programme is ideal for professionals looking to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and innovation within complex supply chain systems.
UTB President Dr. Hasan Almulla emphasised the university’s dedication to delivering academic programmes that are both innovative and aligned with the evolving needs of the labour market. He highlighted UTB’s pivotal role in fostering sustainable economic growth by equipping students with the knowledge and skills to meet market demands.
Dr. Hasan Almulla also referenced UTB’s longstanding reputation for academic excellence, noting that in 2013 and 2015, the university became the first private institution in Bahrain to earn ABET accreditation for its computer science and engineering programmes. Additionally, since 2011, UTB’s business programmes have been accredited by the European Council for Business Education (ECBE), and the university continues to pursue further recognitions.
