UTB hosts INJAZ Bahrain’s program for career readiness
University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) hosted INJAZ Bahrain’s Head Start Program, a dynamic initiative designed to prepare students for the professional world. This comprehensive program equips students with critical job readiness skills, including resume writing, interview techniques, and workplace professionalism, ensuring they are well-prepared for their career journeys.
Through engaging workshops and hands-on activities, students had the opportunity to boost their confidence and gain valuable insights into professional expectations. The program also included mentorship sessions led by industry professionals, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world career demands.
Following the Head Start Program, students took part in the Innovation Camp, where they teamed up and worked under the guidance of expert mentors to create and pitch innovative business ideas across various sectors, including industrial, environmental, social, technology, health care, and aviation.
The camp encouraged creativity and teamwork, as students received feedback from a panel of esteemed judges who provided insightful recommendations on refining their ideas. Judges focused on transforming concepts into viable, market-ready business models with potential for profitability.
The standout team of the Innovation Camp impressed the judges with their business idea, “A-Eye.” This innovative concept was praised for its comprehensive business plan, detailed market study, and creative problem-solving approach. The team’s financial planning and feasibility analysis set them apart from the competition, earning them the top prize during the program’s culminating activity.
