UTB honours its female Bahraini employees

University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) joins the Kingdom of Bahrain in the national celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day, which falls every first of December, at the initiative of Her Royal Highness Shaikha Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), to honour the achievements and the valuable insights and contributions of Bahraini women towards the Kingdom’s socio-economic goals.

Dr. Hasan Almulla, President of UTB, acknowledged the significant roles and support of female Bahraini employees in the university workforce notwithstanding their family and social roles, especially in the last couple of years since its rebranding began. He also stressed on this year’s theme of the celebration as announced by the Supreme Council for Women – “Read – Learned – Participated” which aims at recognising the early beginnings of Bahraini women’s involvement in all facets of public life.

The celebration highlighted a ceremonial cake cutting and the awarding of incentives in line with UTB’s goal of empowering all female Bahraini employees as one of UTB’s integral stakeholders towards achieving its vision and mission, executing its strategies, and generating pertinent results as a return of satisfaction.
