UTB expands international ties with Amity University Bengaluru MoU
The University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) continues to expand its international collaborations with the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Amity University Bengaluru, India. This strategic partnership marks a significant milestone in fostering academic and research excellence between the two universities.
Signed by Dr Hasan Almulla, President of UTB, and Prof D Subhakar, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Bengaluru, the MoU establishes a framework for mutual cooperation in key academic and research initiatives. This agreement will open doors for joint research projects, faculty and student exchanges, collaborative courses, and participation in international conferences and symposia.
The MoU highlights joint research and academic collaboration, enabling faculty from both universities to work on innovative projects and share resources. It also features student mobility programmes, offering UTB and Amity University Bengaluru students opportunities to participate in study abroad programmes, internships, and exchanges for international exposure. Additionally, the partnership includes hosting lectures, seminars, and symposia to encourage knowledge-sharing and professional development, while facilitating the exchange of official publications and academic resources. It will also engage in benchmarking and capacity-building initiatives to enhance teaching methodologies and institutional development.
