UTB boosts athletics with professional training
University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) reaffirms its commitment to athletic excellence by contracting professional coaches to train its sports teams this year. This initiative underscores UTB’s dedication to fostering a thriving sports culture within the university, offering its athletes professional training and support.
Dr. Hasan Almulla, President of UTB, expressed his optimism, stating, “This strategic step will not only refine our athletes’ skills but will also instill a lasting culture of discipline, teamwork, and competitive spirit within UTB. We are determined to cultivate an environment where athletic excellence thrives alongside academic success.”
UTB’s decision aligns with its mission to enhance the overall development of students, recognising sports as a key component of personal and professional growth. As the much-anticipated annual universities sports tournament by the Bahrain Schools and Collegiate Athletic Association approaches, UTB athletes are set to gain invaluable insights and expertise from their professional coaches, strengthening their readiness for the tournament.
This ongoing commitment to professional coaching is set to enhance both individual athletic achievements and the university’s repute in university sports.
