University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) has recently announced that it has contracted a number of professional coaches in a move to enhance the readiness of the university’s sport teams.

Dr. Hasan Almulla, President of UTB, expressed his enthusiasm for this development, stating, “We believe that this initiative will greatly benefit our athletes and contribute to the development of the sports culture and teams at the university.   By providing the necessary guidance and training, we aim to foster a culture of athletic excellence and professionalism, within the university.”

The decision to bring in professional coaches emanates from UTB’s commitment to providing its athletes with the best resources and support available. The university recognises the importance of sports in fostering teamwork, discipline, and personal development among its students.

As the fifth edition of universities sports tournament organised by Bahrain Schools and Collegiate Athletic Association approaches, UTB athletes can look forward to receiving expert guidance from their appointed professional coaches while nurturing their talent and promoting a competitive sporting environment within the university. In the long run, this move is expected to have a positive impact on the performance of UTB teams, both in the upcoming tournament and in future competitions.
