The University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) has been honoured with the “Best University Implementing INJAZ Bahrain Programmes” award for the academic year 2024-2025, in recognition of its outstanding efforts in empowering students with leadership and entrepreneurial skills and fostering a culture of innovation through the effective implementation of INJAZ Bahrain’s programmes and initiatives both on and off campus.

The award was presented during the annual recognition ceremony organised by INJAZ Bahrain, which brought together higher education institutions and partners from both the public and private sectors. UTB stood out for its remarkable achievements in the number of programmes delivered, the high level of student participation, the positive impact on students’ personal and professional competencies, and its strong collaboration with industry experts and volunteers.

This accomplishment underscores UTB’s commitment to creating a dynamic and supportive learning environment that equips young people with essential employability skills, particularly in entrepreneurship, innovation, financial literacy, leadership, and career readiness, in alignment with Bahrain’s national development goals and the Economic Vision 2030.

The university also extended its appreciation to the faculty members, administrative staff, and volunteers who contributed to the successful implementation of INJAZ Bahrain’s initiatives, reaffirming its ongoing support for national programmes that invest in youth potential and strengthen collaboration between academia and the labour market, while empowering students to compete regionally and globally in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.
