UTB and UD boost academic and strategic cooperation
In a move to strengthen its educational leadership in the Kingdom and the region, the University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Dubai (UD), advancing international cooperation. The partnership aims to enhance the quality of educational and research practices, fostering continuous development in academic programmes, and promoting the exchange of expertise.
The partnership between UTB and UD reflects their commitment to a distinguished collaborative approach. This includes key areas such as benchmarking, curriculum development, research collaboration, community engagement, and student and faculty exchange programs. The initiative aligns with national and international standards, ensuring the continuous advancement of academic curricula and educational practices.
Dr. Hasan Almulla, President of UTB, expressed his optimism for the opportunities the collaboration with the University of Dubai, their university affiliate in the United Arab Emirates, would bring. “By working together, we can leverage our experiences and expertise to create a stronger and more innovative educational environment for our students as well as our partners in the business and industry sectors,” he said.
Similarly, Dr. Eesa Al Bastaki, President of UD, cited that this partnership would mark a milestone in academic cooperation, “This partnership represents a significant step in our mission to enhance research and educational collaboration with universities in the region, which we hope will have a positive impact on both the university and the community.”
