UTB and Ministry of Interior collaborate on data analysis training to enhance decision-making skills
As part of its ongoing commitment to advancing professional competencies through strategic community engagement, the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the University of Technology Bahrain (UTB), in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior (MOI), conducted a specialised training session titled “Data Analysis in Decision-Making” on campus.
The training aimed to strengthen MOI delegates’ capabilities in leveraging data for more informed, effective, and timely decision-making across various operational contexts. Designed to bridge theory and practice, the session covered a range of essential topics, including the strategic role of data in decision-making, foundational tools and techniques for data analysis, interpreting data for operational efficiency, and practical case studies drawn from real-world applications.
Dr Danilo Diotay, acting dean of the college, led the session, delivering in-depth insights and hands-on guidance to ensure participants gained actionable knowledge applicable to their professional roles. He noted that the initiative forms part of UTB CarEs, which reflects UTB’s steadfast commitment to social responsibility and meaningful service to the wider community.
Across its colleges and departments, UTB actively collaborates to deliver impactful training and capacity-building initiatives to various sectors of society. By fostering partnerships with key national institutions, UTB continues to drive knowledge exchange and contribute to societal advancement in Bahrain and beyond.
