University of Technology Bahrain (UTB), spearheaded by the College of Engineering students and faculty along with the Community Engagement Office, has taken another notable stride towards environmental sustainability through its annual beach cleaning campaign along the shores of Karbabad Beach, this year in collaboration with the Capital Governorate.

The campaign saw enthusiastic participation from volunteer students, faculty, delegates from the Capital Governorate, and community members, all united to protect and preserve our beautiful coastline. Volunteers worked tirelessly, collecting litter and debris to ensure the beach remains a pristine haven for both people and wildlife.

Additionally, with the offering of the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering programme at UTB, we aim to inspire more students and the broader community to adopt eco-friendly practices and contribute to a healthier environment.
