University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) congratulates Engr. Ebrahim Khalil Almutawa, Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics Engineering and Master of Business Administration alumnus, for being a gold medalist at the International Invention Innovation Technology Exhibition (ITEX) 2022 recently held in Malaysia. The exhibition intends to provide inventors with investment opportunities that will allow them to turn their inventions into commercially viable products.

Dr. Hasan Almulla, University President, presented him a token in recognition of his winning invention – an automated solar panel cleaning system inspired with artificial intelligence. Engr. Ebrahim’s entry was among hundreds of inventions employing artificial intelligence submitted for rigorous scrutiny of experts.
