University of Technology Bahrain premiered alumni homecoming, welcoming all its alumni in a stacked lineup of speeches, sharing of success stories, awarding, and socialisation over a hotel banquet on June 8, 2022.

“The history of the university is about you – our alumni. It is a special time to recall your memories and share how you have become after graduation from your alma mater” said Dr. Hasan Almulla, UTB President, in his opening remarks. He also storied the development of the university, and how it has grown into how it stands today.

Reflecting on the event, alumni members expressed gratitude to UTB for the opportunity specially reminiscing on how such university education impacted their lives. Putting their reflections together, what they remembered the most were the people who had influenced them while completing their degree programme, whether a classmate, teacher, or work supervisor.

“After this event, we hope you got tidbits of encouragement, new memories, connections with old and new friends, the vision for the future of UTB, and more” Mr. Hussam Hubail, Head of Alumni and Career Development Office, said in his concluding speech.
