Students rock in different competitions

Students from the different colleges have been bagging recognition and awards in various competitions locally, regionally, and globally through the mentorship of experienced professors in relative fields.

To mention, engineering students have hooked ranks in the World Robot Olympiad, IET GCC Robotics Challenge, Huawei ICT Competition and recently, the Huawei Seeds for the Future Program 2020. Computer science students have made the university proud in Huawei ICT Skills Competition, Hackathon, First Programming Competition, and Bahrain Collegiate Programming Competition. Business students participated in TradeQuest (TQ) Program to simulate competitive financial operations. 

At present, the university aims to develop new and more opportunities for students to meet the demands of the digital world and beyond.

College of Engineering team with His Highness Sheik Kalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa during the World Robot Olympiad 2019 local round awarding ceremony

Waleed Yousef Al Busmait, a COE student together with two students from other universities, ranked third in Huawei ICT Competition Global Final in Shenzhen, China on May 25-26, 2019. Prior to the final round, Waleed and his team bagged the second place in the Huawei ICT Competition Middle East in China.

College of Engineering students bagged the 3rd and 4th places in the regional round of the 3rd GCC Robotics Challenge held in April 2018 

Computer science and engineering students topped the local level competition and qualified for the national level for the first ever Huawei ICT Skill Competition Middle East 2017.
