Why UTB

University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) is one of the largest and leading private universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Established in 2002 and licensed by the Higher Education Council (HEC) of the Kingdom of Bahrain, UTB offers degree programmes in engineering, technology, business, and International Foundation Year in collaboration with the Northern Consortium of the United Kingdom universities.

UTB is the first private university in Bahrain to receive Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accreditation and the only university in the Kingdom offering Mechatronics Engineering. Its programmes are aligned with global standards through accreditation bodies such as ABET, the European Council for Business Education (ECBE), the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Recognised in countries including Saudi Arabia and Jordan, and a World Health Organisation (WHO)-recognised Healthy University, UTB features a modern integrated campus with on-site retail, premium accommodation for international students, and a World Aquatics Centre of Excellence for elite athletes.
