The Information Technology (IT) Office provides central technology services that support the faculty in its teaching and research endeavors.


Employee Single Sign-on Access (ESSA) allows the faculty to access services such as Moodle, E-Library and MyHRMS. ESSA registration is handled by the HRD and is issued to all faculty members.

Faculty members use moodle, a course management system for creating, managing, accessing, and participating in online learning materials and activities.

Grading Portal
Provides access to faculty to encodes student grades, print QER and grade sheet.

For now, grading portal is accessible only inside AMAIUB using office network.

@amaiu E-mail
This is a cloud-based email service powered by google. The faculty email is accessible from PC’s, Mac, and mobile devices.

The faculty needs to accomplish the network access requisition form from the IT department in order to have University email.

Internet Service
The IT Office provides internet access for all faculty members. AMAIUB-Office and Office1 is the preferred WI-FI SSID for all faculty members. Both provide a secure connection using WPA2-AES encryption and MAC filtering method.

Faculty need to sign the Computer and Internet Acceptable Use Policy before the IT personnel registers their devices for internet access.

Computer, Laptop and Printer
Computer and Laptop – The IT Office provides laptop to Full time faculty members for teaching and research use. On the other hand, the part-time faculty may borrow laptop from the IT office. Two computer are also installed for every common area in the faculty room.

Printer – This is installed for every faculty cubicle and network accessible printer is also installed to all common area in the faculty room.

Computer Laboratories
The IT Office provides a campus computer lab that is available to the entire university. This lab is open to all AMAIUB students, faculty and staff.

ID Card
ID Cards are issued to all faculty members for them to have access inside university premises and use its facilities. The faculty ID card is non-transferable under any conditions.

Replace a Lost ID Card

Below is the procedure to be followed:

  • Submit letter of request for replacement to HRD Head. HRD approves request after confirming identity of faculty.
  • The approved request will be presented to Accounting where payment is done.
  • Then, the approved request and OR will be presented to IT where the ID will be replaced.
  • The letter of request will be collected by IT. The OR should be marked with date and signed by the IT staff who processed the replacement. Then, the ID replacement will be issued to the faculty
Tools that University faculty can use which will helps them scan any type of documents for plagiarism. Faculty may login, submit documents and download report.
