AMAIUB, King Hamad University Hospital conduct Blood Donation Campaign

As a response to the call of social responsibility, AMA International University-Bahrain (AMAIUB), in cooperation with the King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH), conducted the 7th annual Blood Donation Campaign on March 20, held at the University campus.

With the theme, “Save a life, give blood”, the campaign was organized by the External and Community Engagement Office in collaboration with the University Student Council and the Student Community Engagement Club.  Faculty members, staff, and students lined up to donate blood and took advantage of the free tests conducted by the KHUH.

Organized annually, this activity reflects the steadfast commitment of the University to help stock up the medical institutions’ blood bank for emergency purposes,  cultivate a  culture of donating blood among the members of the University academic community, and  encourage more people to donate blood regularly for health purposes as well.

This activity is one of the humanitarian activities organized to provide an opportunity for AMAIUB students, faculty, and staff to be actively involved in saving other people’s lives by becoming regular blood donors and be of service to the surrounding communities and the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
