AMA International University to conduct outcome based workshop

With its quest for continuous quality improvement, AMA International University will conduct a workshop on outcome-based pedagogy on September 12-13, 2013 at the University Auditorium.

AMAIUB invited Prof. Susan Bloxam, Faculty of Education and Director of Educational Research of the University of Cumbria, Lancaster to be the resource speaker for the said activity.

The workshop aims to strengthen the University’s foundations on outcome-based education especially on exploring better approaches to teaching, learning and assessment of student outcomes.

The AMAIUB faculty members have fundamental backgrounds on outcome-based education since pedagogy had been shifted from input-based into outcome-based in 2011. This was further reinforced when the University underwent ABET accreditation of the engineering and computing programmes, and ECBE accreditation of its business programmes.

This workshop likewise intends to boost a significant level of confidence among the teaching force of AMAIUB.
